    sharp, pungent; मधुरो गुडः कटुकं शृङ्गबेरम् Mbh. on [P.II.1.1.]
    impetuous, hot; [Rv.1.] 85. 34.
    disagreeable, unpleasant.
    fierce. स संप्रहारस्तुमुलः कटुकः शोणितोदकः [Mb.6.7.12.]

   कः pungency, acerbity.
