भाविक  n. n. language full of feeling or passion (= भावुक), [Pratāp.]
   a figure of speech which consists in describing the past or future so vividly that it appears to be present, [Sāh.] ; [Kpr. &c.]

   Natural, real, inherent, innate.
   Sentimental, pervaded by a feeling or sentiment; विभावितभाविकस्फुटरसमृशाभ्यक्ता वैतालिकै- र्जगिरे गिरः [N.19.1;] [Śi.4.33.]
   Future.
-कः   An equation involving the products of unknown quantities.
   कम् Language full of love or passion.
   (In Rhet.) A figure of speech which consists in describing the past or future so vividly that it appears to be actually present. It is thus defined by Mammaṭa; प्रत्यक्षा इव यद्भावाः क्रियन्ते भूतभाविनः । तद् भाविकम् [K. P.1.]
