ऊर्ध्व [ūrdhva] a. a. Erect, upright, above; ˚केश &c.; rising or tending upwards.
Raised, elevated, erected; हस्तः, ˚पादः &c.
High, superior, upper.
Not sitting (opp. आसीन).
